To participate in online classes a basic understanding of computers is highly recommended.  Online students must have internet access and access to a reliable computer or laptop where they can view class materials and complete typed assignments.  The cost for purchasing computer equipment and or software as well as all internet service provider and related fees are the personal responsibility of the student.  It is expected that the student will communicate with their professor through e-mail and most assignments will be submitted as e-mail attachments.  With the exception for selected required reading books, all study materials are provided to the student in electronic format only.
